Join us and hear from a panel of experts, including SELT - Southeast Land Trust of New Hampshire, the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests, and two conservation easement owners. Bring your questions!

As one expert said recently, in southern NH, "Anything not conserved now will be developed in 20 years."

Next week, on June 12, join the East Kingston Conservation Commission at EKPL. Learn all about conservation easements from a fantastic board of panelists.
We hope to see you then!

Please stay off of muddy trails.

Please stay off of muddy trails.

Mud season has arrived earlier than expected this year. During this time, our trails can be easily damaged, especially with mountain bike use and horseback riding. Even hiking on soft, thawing trails can have a negative impact.

Please use trails you know remain firm during mud season and steer clear of others until they firm up again. Thank you for helping keep our trails in good condition for everyone to enjoy!

Note: if you're going to use a muddy trail, please walk through the mud. Going around damages the surrounding soil and vegetation and is far worse than just walking on the trail. If you don't have shoes ready to repel the mud, we would suggest waiting for the ground to dry a bit more before hitting the trails.

Thank you!
