💍 One Slight Hitch opens in just 2 weeks at the Cider Mill Stage and we can’t wait for you to meet the Coleman family! As the final production of BLAST’s 2025–2026 season, this hilarious comedy by Lewis Black is the perfect way to close out an incredible season of theatre.

It’s Courtney Coleman’s wedding day in suburban Ohio in the 1980s, and everything is supposed to be picture perfect. But when her ex-boyfriend Ryan suddenly shows up at the family home, the carefully planned celebration begins to spiral into chaos. Between an over-the-top mother, a stressed-out father, siblings with opinions about everything, and secrets that refuse to stay hidden, the wedding weekend quickly becomes anything but simple.

The production features Annie Fabiano as Courtney, Shane Smith as Ryan, Chris Nickerson as Doc Coleman, Lisa Thompson Waldrop as Delia Coleman, Sydney Lynn Stachyra as P.B., Kylie Thetga as Melanie, and Erik Young as Harper. Directed by Adam Holley, One Slight Hitch is packed with sharp comedy, family dysfunction, and plenty of unexpected twists.

BLAST is excited to present Lewis Black’s hilarious 1980s comedy “One Slight Hitch,” directed by Adam Holley. What starts as a perfectly planned wedding weekend quickly spirals into chaos when Courtney Coleman’s former boyfriend unexpectedly returns, throwing her wedding to the charming Harper Whittington into complete disorder.

Chris Nickerson and Lisa Thompson Waldrop star as Doc and Delia Coleman, the parents desperately trying to hold the family together while Sydney Lynn Stachyra and Kylie Thetga play Courtney’s sisters P.B. and Melanie. Annie Fabiano stars as the bride-to-be Courtney, caught between her seemingly perfect fiancé Harper, played by Erik Young, and her ex-boyfriend Ryan, played by Shane Smith.

Our Rising Star Youth Theatre Workshop will present Mary Poppins Jr., a magical experience designed for younger performers to grow both on and off the stage. Through this program, participants build confidence, communication skills, imagination, empathy, self-discipline, public speaking, and teamwork, all while making new friends and having a great time.
