We are extra excited about this one!!!

2026 marks America’s semiquincentennial (250th Birthday) and the Grand Encampment Opera Company is marking the historic occasion with a big announcement. The Woodchoppers Jamboree Melodrama to be performed June 17, 19 & 20, 2026 has been locally written to celebrate the occasion. Have you wondered what Grand Encampment was like in 1776? Oddly enough this melodrama tells a tale of the area with no historical facts but so many opportunities to BOO the Villain and CHEER on the Hero with some surprises too.
