🌻 BIG VENDOR UPDATE — WE’RE TRYING SOMETHING NEW! 🌻

We’re learning, adjusting, and growing — and starting THIS WEEKEND, vendor spaces will be just $25!

We have plenty of room at this location to accommodate a lot more vendors. I feel confident that having more vendors at a lower fee can still cover the market’s weekly expenses — and hopefully create an even bigger, better market at the same time. We’re going to give it a try and see how it works!

My goal is simple: I want this market to grow, and I want it to be affordable for people to participate.

The market does have expenses that have to be covered each week, but if lowering the vendor fee allows us to bring in MORE vendors while still covering those expenses, then I think it’s absolutely worth trying!

So we’re going to give it a shot:

We had a GOOD Saturday last weekend, and now that we have our first weekend at this location under our belt, we know much more about what to expect and what we need to do.

The momentum is growing, people are hearing about us, and we are FULL STEAM AHEAD! ❤️

I truly believe that having more vendors means more variety, more reasons for people to stop, more shoppers, and ultimately a stronger market for EVERYONE.

So if $25 makes it easier for you to give us a try — COME ON! Bring your produce, baked goods, crafts, antiques, vintage finds, boutique items, plants, farm products, yard-sale treasures, handmade goods, or whatever you have to sell!

A BIG SHOUT-OUT to Glenn Hawkins for moving some things and making some changes to the grounds to better accommodate The Old Country Farmers Market! 🌻❤️

Every week we’re learning, adjusting, and making improvements — and Glenn has been incredibly supportive in helping us make this location work better for our vendors AND our shoppers!

Why this location is so exciting:

🚗 Just off I-95 at Exit 8, making us easy for travelers to find.
📍 Directional signs will guide visitors directly from the interstate
to the market.
🌎 We have been approved to promote the market at the North
Carolina/Virginia Welcome Center.
❤️ My dear friend, Brenda Pultz, who works at the Welcome Center, is
helping spread the word to travelers entering Virginia.
🚦 Located directly on Highway 301, giving us outstanding visibility.
🚛 Right across from Simmons Truck Terminal, where truck drivers can
walk over, stretch their legs, browse the market, and pick up gifts or
treasures to take home.

This is more than just a weekend market—we're working to create a fun destination where people can shop local, discover unique treasures, enjoy great food, and spend time with family and friends
