Rules:
- Full stock frame pocket to pocket
- No 3 link suspensions permitted
- 57.0000% left side weight, 3100 lbs total weight
- 602 crates: 58.0000% left side weight, 3000 lbs total weight
- Weight to be checked at any time, more specifically after the race. CRA burn off rule in effect
- 50 lb penalty for engine set back further than #1 spark plug
- 50 lbs weight penalty for non OEM spindles
- Stock chassis (unmarried, metric or chevelle) 1% left side weight break
- No wider than 77” front wheel width with a 1” tolerance (measured wheel to wheel)
- 105” minimum wheelbase allowed
- Non adjustable shocks! No bumps, no valves
- Hoosier Comanches will be used. 8” wheels. No soaking
- Spoiler height maximum from ground 42.5”
- No sideboards or non stock roof moldings of any kind
- No traction control of any kind
- Underslung chassis allowed. However, nothing is able to be mounted to it or under it
- 6” frame height allowed. 5” allowed with 50 lb weight penalty. 4” allowed with 1% left side percentage deducted and 100lbs added. Frame height checked BEFORE RACE
- Raceceivers MANDATORY on 469.5000. Westhold Transponders MANDATORY and available for rent for $20 by LRP
- No 2 way radios allowed. Left side spot mirror allowed. No rearview mirrors
- LRP reserves the right to add weight, so bring it just in case!
- New and used tires will be for sale! Price $180 each. No impound, we encourage you to purchase tires from the track as the little money we do make off tire sales helps us pay this big of a purse!
- No soaking tires, tech is subject to send tires off to be tested
Procedures:
- Top 16 in Qualifying will be locked into the A Main. Top 16 Starting Positions for Feature determined by “Duels” ran on Friday evening
- Duel 1 Lineup based on Qualifying results - 15th, 13th, 11th, 9th, 7th, 5th, 3rd, 1st
- Duel 2 Lineup based on Qualifying results - 16th, 14th, 12th, 10th, 8th, 6th, 4th, 2nd
- 4 Heat Races will be ran, starting positions could be inverted
- Based on 72 entries, Heat starting spots in terms of Qualifying results.
- Heat 1: 17th, 21st, 25th, 29th, 33rd, 37th, 41st, 45th, 49th, 53rd, 57th, 61st, 65th, 69th
- Heat 2: 18th, 22nd, 26th, 30th, 34th, 38th, 42nd, 46th, 50th, 54th, 58th, 62nd, 66th, 70th
- Heat 3: 19th, 23rd, 27th, 31st, 35th, 39th, 43rd, 47th, 51st, 55th, 59th, 63rd, 67th, 71st
- Heat 4: 20th, 24th, 28th, 32nd, 36th, 40th, 44th, 48th, 52nd, 56th, 60th, 64th, 68th, 72nd
- B Main and C Main will be inverted. Invert TBA day of event
- Top 2 Finishers in each Heat will go to the A Main
- If full field of 72 entries, 3rd-8th Heat finishers go to B Main; 9th-14th Heat finishers go to C Main
- If less than 72 cars, B Main and C Main starting positions/car count will be determined by LRP. A Main will have full field
- If more than 72 cars are entered, no other mains will be ran
- The winner of the C Main will race the B Main, the winner of the B Main will race the A Main. Keep the previous race winnings and create excitement!
- Weekend Warrior Race is a new concept for this two day format. You can show up on Saturday only, however, you must pay a higher entry fee AND you must have raced at another track the night before. Winner of the Weekend Warrior Race will start at the tail of the A Main, 2nd and 3rd at the tail of the B Main, 4th and 5th at the tail of the C Main
- Race Laps:
- Duels/Heats - 10 Laps
- Weekend Warrior Race - 20 Laps
- C Main - 30 Laps
- B Main - 40 Laps
- A Main - 75 Laps
- Breakout rule of 2 tenths will be in affect at all times. Sandbagging will not be tolerated
- One driver is permitted to enter two cars. An entry fee must be submitted for each separate car. If driver qualifies car in the same race, a substitute driver is
permitted to run the car, but will have to start scratch.
Grand Nationals and F8 Ironman are more than welcomed to race in the Trident as well just like previous years!
