Miss Ashley’s School of No Prep 2026 is here and we are ready for action!!!!

We are allowing open test and tune for $20 all day between rounds, so get them hot rods out here. Doesn’t matter if you have a daily driver, want to grudge race or if you make winter upgrades and want to shake your car down. Anything from factory hot rods to top sportsman’s, fuel alters, or even rail cars, bring them out and shake them down.

Anyone can enter the classes we are running as long as you meet the rules.

*** Attention Drivers ***
Each buy in needs to be paid in cash due to the payout being structured like a cash days style event. Remember Mid-West Racing Alliance we do a first and second round buy back, you can only buy back once. This year we have created what we call a “Last chance lotto” any driver that had bought back in that lost and is out of competitioncan buy tickets at $20ea (no limit) to have a chance to get back in the race. There will be two tickets picked in each class and those two drivers in each class will then race each other in the 4th round, the winner will move on as normal.

Let’s make this a fun and exciting day for everyone. This is a family event with lots for the kiddos. This event it’s to honor Ashley, money made from this event will be going to donations in her honor to help with anything from daycare, to scholarships programs to help future teachers. We do have a go fund me set up for the daycare she was working at to help put in a butterfly garden in memory of her (link below).

One last message, please take a moment to look into your state laws, in our start once you become an adult (18) and you do not legally establish a power of attorney, the state becomes the power of attorney (unless married) for you in an event you are medically unable to make decisions. This will in most cases prevent parents/family from making the best decision for their adult children.

***Attention Mid-West Racing Alliance nation***

We are still full steam ahead for Miss Ashley’s School of No Prep 2026. We have put things in motion to make sure the track is dry and safe for drivers to go down tomorrow. We will be drying the track along with dragging the track. This will still be a No prep event, the dragging will be simply to burn the moisture out of the track.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone there and all the kiddos running around having a blast.

Camping is free today-Sunday, come join us tonight for the Pre race hangout. The bar will be open with limited food options (pizza and wings)

Happy Thursday Mid-West Racing Alliance nation!!!!! We are only days away from the baddest No Prep event in the mid west. Miss Ashley’s School of No Prep 2026 is here!

****DRIVERS****
All buy in money needs to be paid in cash at the gate since this is a cash days style event.

All classes will have a first and second round buy back (can only buy back once) which will be added to the pay outs.

All classes will have a first and secondary round call out. (Both drives will need to make it to staging, no call outs will be accepted on a broke car)

Make sure your car can safely make it down the track and you have your proper safety gear on.

Can you believe this week is the last week before Mid-West Racing Alliance invades Cordova Dragway for Miss Ashley’s School of No Prep 2026!?!?! We hope everyone is ready for an amazing day with friends, family, strangers and most of all racing! We want to make sure everyone knows this is a family event with a lot for the kiddos. Please be respectful, responsible and look out for all them little smiling faces running around. Stay tuned this week as we will have some reminders, comments, and class information this week. Going to try and get as much information out as possible so that the drivers meeting can be straight to the points and we can get the show rolling for everyone.

Reminder: There will be open test and tune from 10:30-11:30 Saturday morning.

Camping is free unless you want to be upfront and close to the action, we have 40 track side spots available they ate $20ea for the weekend. These will be first come first served.

Friday the grounds will be open and the bar will be in full action with limited food menu options. Get there Friday to get your spots and ready for Saturday morning so you can be first in line for testing.

Happy St. Patrick’s day Mid-West Racing Alliance nation. We are getting close to go time!

A few things we wanted to put out there.

1. We will be opening the track from 10:30-11:30(noon) on Saturday for drivers to be able to test and get some heat in the track before we do opening ceremonies and start the rounds.
2. Camping is FREE Friday-Saturday, however we will have 40 premium trackside spots available ($20 a spot, first come first serve) all camping is primitive camping so bring your power/water source.
3. Cordova Dragway will have their bar open starting on Friday and will be selling drinks and limited food (Pizza and Wings)
4. Gates on Friday will open at 3 to allow campers to come get their spots and set up.
5. Racers only, buy in money will need to be paid in cash with this being a “cash days” structured event. Gate fees, food, drinks… etc… can be paid with cash or card.

We will have more information to come here soon. We are planning to go live here soon with pre-sale tickets and pre registration, stay tuned.

Good morning and happy Tuesday Mid-West Racing Alliance nation!!! Here is the buy in and pay out structure for Miss Ashley’s School of No Prep 2026. We also want to thank Stull Drywall, Inc for adding $100 to each class payout. Winners will receive an extra $100 on behalf of them. We want to let everyone know this is a memorial race in honor of Ashley, we are not doing this to make money, with this being said, if the turn out is good an we are able to give back, we will also be adding to the pay-outs in the classes along with donating money back to the Prairie school future teacher scholarships program and their ECC program. This is where she went to school, worked and was becoming a teacher. Please come out and honor her memory by packing the house and letting the kids be kids and enjoy the day. Looking forward to seeing everyone here soon. We will have more details coming as we get closer. Let’s all pray for a perfect April day.

Happy Wednesday Mid-West Racing Alliance nation. We hope everyone’s race programs are coming together. We are getting so close to Miss Ashley’s School of No Prep 2026. As we finish up the “behind the scenes” last minute stuff makes this all more real. We are excited to have this event at Cordova Dragway this year and looking forward to seeing everyone there. We do want to take a moment and let everyone know that Lil' Racer Car Club, INC will be in attendance, if you don’t know who they are or what they do please head over to their page and check them out. Happy Wednesday Mid-West Racing Alliance nation. We are so excited to announce that for the first time we will be doing a Bike and Trike giveaway. This is something we have wanted to do since the beginning!!! 319 recycling and clean up has donated 3 trikes, Cassill Motors, D S Disposal and Sunline, Inc. Cedar Rapids have donated 3 bikes and Done Right Clean Up has donated 2 bikes to giveaway. So that’s 3 trikes and 5 bikes the kiddos will have a chance to win. How awesome is that? We can’t thank them enough for helping make this possible. Aaron Durflinger has been a supporter of the event since day one and a huge thank you to him for helping us continue the tradition of giving out free event shirts to the kids. They will be able to tie dye them at the event or leave them white. Please show all of our supporters how much we appreciate them.
