🤔 Interested in learning more about making your own mosaic artwork? Dive into the art form with our Mosaic Mini-Series—a 4-session workshop where you’ll learn the tools and techniques needed to create your very own mosaic art piece! 🎨

Led by Appel Farm Teaching Artist Gail Scuderi, you’ll be guided through designing and creating your own 12" x 12" cement stepping stone, from the initial design to the finished piece.

👀 Looking for a fun after-school activity for your teen this fall?

Our NEW Teen Ceramics class starts the second week of August and is a welcoming space for teens to explore wheel throwing, handbuilding, sculpture, and more. Whether they're trying clay for the first time or building an art portfolio, they'll be able to explore their own interests and artistic visions through personalized instruction.

With very few schools offering ceramics classes—and some offering little or no art at all—this is a great opportunity for your teen to discover a new creative outlet, build confidence, and make something they're proud of.

👀 Already know the basics and looking for a more advanced pottery class? Well look no further!

Created by popular demand from our Pottery 101 students, our BRAND NEW Pottery 102 class is starting at Appel Farm in just a few short weeks starting Thursday, August 6th.

Pottery 102 is designed for students with prior wheel throwing experience who want to refine their skills and explore new creative possibilities. Learn advanced techniques, experiment with different clay bodies and glaze effects, and create more ambitious ceramic work with guidance from Teaching Artist and ceramicist Alissa Clayton.

Perfect for graduates of Pottery 101 and returning potters looking to continue their clay journey. All materials included. ✨
