Pressed flowers + pumpkins might just be our favorite fall combination. 🌸🎃

Join us at Parker Flower Farms for our Pressed Petal Pumpkins Workshop, led by Halie McConnell of Neighborhood Art Cart. You’ll use beautiful pressed blooms to transform your own pumpkin into a one-of-a-kind botanical work of art.

No art experience needed — Halie will walk you through the process, and everything you need to create your pumpkin is included.

Two dates to join us:
October 20 at 5 PM
October 25 at 9 AM

Your ticket includes your pumpkin, pressed flowers, all crafting materials, farm admission, and a bouquet cup to fill with fresh flowers from the farm. 🌻

Come slow down, get creative, and spend a little time among the flowers with us this fall.

Today we’re wishing a very happy birthday to our favorite farmer, Scott!

Farming has been part of Scott’s life from the very beginning. Born and raised right here in Elkton, he comes from generations of local farmers and started Scott Parker Farms at just 18 years old with only a few acres.

More than 40 years later, he’s still farming — although these days, you’ll find a few more flowers mixed in with the potatoes. 🥔 🌸

When we started Parker Flower Farms, Scott brought decades of farming experience to a completely new adventure. From figuring out what and when to plant, to dreaming up what this place could become, he has helped shape Parker Flower Farms from the very beginning.

And of course, he’s still the one behind the fields — planting, growing, and doing a whole lot of work long before there are flowers for anyone else to see.

We’re so grateful for everything he brings to Parker Flower Farms.

🎨 Meet our art teacher, Halie McConnell!

Halie is the creative behind Neighborhood Art Cart, and we’re so excited to have her back at Parker Flower Farms this fall. She’ll be leading a whole lineup of hands-on art workshops at the farm for both kids and adults.

Here’s what we have coming up:

🎃 Pressed Petal Pumpkins — October 20 & 25
🌸 Pressed Petals: Tote Bag Workshop — October 28
🎨 Little Artists: Fall Ceramics — November 8
🖼️ Pressed & Preserved: Flower Frames — November 15

And you don’t have to wait for one of our scheduled workshops to create with Halie. If you’re looking for a fun way to gather a group this fall, Halie also offers private art parties at the farm. She can work with you to choose the perfect fall class for your group, and we’ll provide the farm setting. 🌻

Perfect for a girls’ night, birthday, family gathering, team outing, or just an excuse to get some friends together and make something.

📸 Fall Photography Reservations Are Open

Golden hour, flower fields, and fall sessions — photography reservations are officially open. 🌻

Advance reservations are required for all professional photography sessions. We limit the number of sessions we host at any given time to keep the fields relaxed and uncrowded.

Introducing the Fall Season Pass 🌻🌸🧡

One pass. Every Open Farm Day from October 17 – November 22.

A Season Pass means you don’t have to pick just one weekend to visit. Come back as many times as you’d like throughout the season — wander the fields, pick flowers, bring the kids, meet a friend, or just enjoy another afternoon on the farm.

$45 for unlimited visits all season.

Season Passes include regular Open Farm Days. Special events and photography reservations are ticketed separately.

As this Spring season wraps up, I just want to say thank you. 💛

Thank you for believing in our little farm and continuing to show up season after season. Whether you came to pick flowers, watch the sunset, attend an event, or simply spend time outdoors with people you love — you’re part of what makes this place so special.

This season had long days, weather challenges, and a whole lot of learning behind the scenes… but it also gave us so many moments we’ll never forget.

To everyone who visited, shared a post, told a friend, attended an event, or supported our family farm in any way: thank you. Truly.

Your support means more than we could ever fully put into words.

We are endlessly grateful for this community and already looking forward to doing it all again this fall 💛
