Elkfest - Elkins, Arkansas

09/28/2026

Miss Elkfest is honored to be a partner with Miss Arkansas State Festival Pageant. All of our queens will now have a chance to represent Elkfest at state in March!

Arkansas State Festival Queen is a statewide program created to celebrate the remarkable titleholders who represent festivals and communities across the Natural State.

From cherished hometown traditions to celebrations of agriculture, history, arts, food, and local heritage, Arkansas festivals tell the story of who we are - and their queens are proud ambassadors for that story.

Eligible titleholders representing these festivals will have the opportunity to advance to the inaugural Arkansas State Festival Queen Pageant in March 2027. There, they’ll represent their festivals on the state stage, build new friendships, grow in confidence, and compete for the honor of becoming one of our first state titleholders.

This is more than another crown. It’s an opportunity to celebrate Arkansas traditions, strengthen festival programs, and create a lasting legacy - one community at a time.

Learn more at www.arstatefestivalqueen.com and follow along as we prepare for our inaugural event!

🎯 The Student Becomes the Master!

The competition was stiff, the bags were flying, and the fun at the Elkfest Co****le Tournament was real.

After 2 rounds of epic tosses and a few "how did that stay on the board?!" moments, we have our champions!

Huge congratulations to Like Father Like Sun for taking home the win!

It turns out the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, or the bag far from the hole.

This duo proved that teamwork (and maybe a little family rivalry) is the secret sauce for a tournament-winning performance.

A massive thank you to The Sqaches who came out to play!

Think you can take them down in 2027? Better start practicing your aim now!

📸 Business in the Front, Party in the Pasture!

The results are in, the hairspray has settled, and the Elkfest Mullet Competition did not disappoint! Our eyes are still recovering from the sheer majesty of it all.

Whether it was a meticulously groomed mane or a "just rolled out of the tent" masterpiece, these competitors proved that the mullet isn't just a haircut, t’s a lifestyle.

Here are a few of our favorite highlights from the stage!

Think you’ve got what it takes to take the crown next year? Start growing those locks now!
