Starts Today at 5pm! Taste award-winning wines and see spectacular hot air balloons launch and glow (weather permitting) Plus! Live Entertainment. This year’s Festival will add more delicious foods from BBQ Ribs and Pita Gyros to Bang Bang Shrimp and Wood Fired Pizza.

Hot Air Ballooning is one of America's biggest spectator sports. The 19th Annual Nebraska Balloon & Wine Festival will feature balloon pilots from the Nebraska Balloon Pilots Association and pilots from several states including Iowa, Missouri, and Arizona to name a few. The Hot Air Balloons are 7 stories high when inflated and plans are for the balloons (weather permitting) fly off the Ta Ha Zouka Park field at around 7PM (about an hour before sunset). The excursion will lift off and fly around 1,000 ft above Elkhorn Valley. After landing, the balloons return to Ta Ha Zouka Park to inflate these balloons on the field at around 9PM. These colorful balloons will light the festival with an exciting balloon glow as well as several other activities from all glowing at the same time and flickering their flames along with more fun for everyone to see up close.

The Festival offers more great entertainment with some of the Omaha Area best mix of bands. Friday evening is the Persuaders, Saturday is Red Delicious Band and High Heel to highlight the event. Other features are over 60 wines to taste, enjoy by the glass or bottle, delicious foods in the food court, one of a kind arts & crafts and novelty items from honey to jerky to jewelry and clothes as well as a KidZone and fun for kids with bungee jumping and bull riding to knockerballs and inflatables.

See you at the festival. Friday opens at 5pm and Saturday at 3pm until 11pm each day.
