Shakespeare on the Edge and A Gathering of Rogues & Ruffians - A Renaissance Faire you have once again raised the bar. Saturday was amazing and I’m not sure if Sunday was even better. I got to wear a suede vest today that I bought 37 years ago at the Maryland renaissance Faire when I was in high school. I have been to many Faires around the country and you truly have made something very special here.

So I’m going to assign some homework.

I am going to have a costume party but I want everyone to be properly prepared. The theme is Righteous in the shadows. Your choice “What we do in the Shadows” or “Righteous Gemstones “

The homework is for anyone unfamiliar with these two shows to fix that. Trust me you will be better.

You have a few months. Right now I’m looking at February or March.

I have made it to Baraboo! This was the goal. I still have more hats to make but a lot of my focus is now on my shop and planning classes.

So far classes I’m planning are

Leather mug making
Toiletries bag(Dopp kits) making
Basics of hand stitching
Introduction to marble dying
Making a flat cap
Leather armor making
Mask making
Leather carving and tooling basics
Pattern making
Purse making
Leather finishing and sealing
And more

Also I want to have some community nights.

I’d like to have one night a month where we have a fix it party. Bring in anything that is broken and let’s try to fix it. Really anything. The handle broke on your laundry basket. Let’s make new ones. Your kids shoes need patching or their backpack needs a zipper or a strap. Nothing fancy but making things functional again.

I’m hoping to have a table top game or rpg night.

I’m really hoping I get some folks to come play some acoustic music on a regular basis too.

But it has to start somewhere. I’m going to be there a few times this coming week and more and more often from there on. If you’re interested in helping out send me a message and I’ll let you know when I’ll be there.

So I have these in both head sizes, brim sizes, and in both configurations orange brim or black brim. Limited quantity (like one of each combination) normally $300 on sale for $200 until this leather is gone.
