Elkhart Riverwalk A nice place to take a walk. It's beautiful and can be romantic. It's fun for the whole family.

Located on the Elkhart River and starting either off of Main St near the bridge or on Waterfall Dr. near High St, this Riverwalk is a scenic walk next to the water. It's a nice way to take the stress of the day and tuck it away with a nice walk along this River. This Riverwalk allows you to get up close and personal with the river without getting so close that you will fall in. In the middle of th

e walk is Island Park where you can circle the island and really get a great view of both the St Joe and Elkhart Rivers. Come any day you want from dawn until dusk and enjoy a nice time on the river whether you are alone, with a loved one, or with a group of people.

A few commonly asked questions about our Fish Fest Event!

🐟 How much does it cost?
This is a FREE family event! Fish Fest is held in conjunction with Indiana’s annual free fishing weekend. The weekend of June 5th & 6th, it is not required to have a license.

🐟 Where can I fish?
Fishing Locations: High Dive Park, Martins Landing, Island Park, the Riverwalk, The Johnson Street Bridge, the Main St Bridge, Langle Park, American Park, and McNaughton Park.

🐟 Do I have to be a fishing expert to participate?
No way! Along with the tournament, there will be tons of fun outdoor activities to enjoy including games and live displays, a fish-nic, and a movie!
