The "Arrive & Drive" fee includes a first-class car, complete crew, fuel, tires, and everything you need to win. You show up, hot lap, qualify, race, and keep all prize money! The price does not include the driver’s personal safety equipment, travel costs or any expenses arising from crash damage to the racecar. Driver safety equipment may be available if you do not have your own. In addition to the service fee, a refundable deposit is required for potential crash damage. Discounts, branding and/or sponsor hospitality services are available for multi-car or 5+ race contracts. ARE YOU READY TO RACE?

Arrive & Drive racers must be approved by FRX staff. To race the Tuner, one simply needs to be able to adequately control the car at highway speeds.

For the Ltd. Mod, if you have not recently completed an advanced FRX school program or can not provide proof of adequate racing experience, you may be required to complete a test/practice session (in Elk City, OK) prior to your desired race date. The 40-50 lap practice fee is only $500 (1/2 price) for Arrive & Drive clients because we need to know that you can get up to speed and control the car. If you fail to do that in the 40-50 lap session, we will require you to successfully complete one of our FRX school programs before entering a pro race with our cars. If you are not approved after your 40-50 lap practice session, you may apply your Arrive & Drive reservation deposit (less the $500 practice fee) towards an FRX school program or possibly an Arrive & Drive event in a lower division.

WHAT IF I CRASH THE CAR?
Don’t worry, spinouts are common and usually result in no damage. Crashes (where the racecar impacts something else) are very rare, but they can happen. Our first priority is your wellbeing! Once we know you are OK, we’ll get to work assessing the damage to the car, facility and/or any other vehicles or equipment that may be involved, the total cost of repairing said damage and the reason(s) for the crash. The decision of FRX personnel on these matters is final. If the total cost of repairing all damage exceeds your damage deposit, you will be required to pay the balance due or sign a payment agreement before leaving the track. Failure to do so may result in your credit card being charged for the total amount due. Usually, your damage deposit will be enough to cover the cost of repairs. Typically, we can repair a car fairly quickly. In the rare event that we can’t repair the car and don’t have a functional spare, you will have the option of completing your laps in a different car type or at a future date.

DAMAGE DEPOSITS?
In the controlled environment of a racing school, crashing is a rare occurrence, but it can happen. The student is responsible for the cost of repairing any damage to FRX or track facilities and equipment caused by driver error. To cover these costs, the student is required to post a refundable damage deposit.

In addition, a standard pit pass waiver and statement of health, safety and financial responsibility must be signed by all FRX participants. The driver (or minor driver’s legal guardian) is always responsible for any crash expenses that exceed their damage deposit. Damage deposits vary with car type and program level and are cash or credit card only. No checks. Below is a general guideline for damage deposits.

FRX Arrive & Drive - Refundable Damage Deposits (cash, cc or Zelle):
Tuner $500
Modified $1,000
Sprint Car $1,500

DENNIS CATCHES ELLIOTT for SMC WIN at ECMP

8/2/24 - With sixty-nine cars in the pits last Saturday, the fans at Elk City Motorsports Park had a full night of high-speed action on the 3/8-mile dirt track. It was a championship points event for all four divisions with only the final 1/3rd of the season remaining, so every point matters!

The Sooner Mod Challenge saw the highest car count of the year for this class, with 26 USRA Ltd. & B-Mods signed in. Veteran racer, Robert Elliott ( #09 Clinton, OK) headed into the night holding a 64pt lead over last year’s champion, Jeffrey Kaup ( #92 Woodward, OK) with Elk City’s Austin Bonner ( #36) in 3rd place, 82pts back from Elliott.

In the SMC feature, Kaup and Elliott started on the front row, but got together in turn two of the opening lap, creating a pile-up that collected ten cars. Four cars were done for the night and another 3 retired over the next two laps, including the pole sitter #92 of Kaup. On the restart, Robert Elliott immediately moved to the point and stayed out front by almost a half second until lap 17. Starting inside of row 2 for his first race at ECMP this year, the of Altus, OK’s Cole Dennis avoided damage in the early carnage, then chased down and passed Elliott on Lap 17, stretching his lead to almost a full second in the final three laps! Terrel Evens ( Cache, OK) filled out the podium in 3rd place. Despite tough conditions, it was a heck of a show!

Jeffrey Kaup’s misfortune dropped him to third in points, advanced Austin Bonner to 2nd and allowed Robert Elliott to increase his lead in the championship to 93pts ahead of Bonner and 105pts over Kaup.

Starting this weekend!

Numerous issues, omissions and innuendos have been brought to our attention regarding the disregard, bending and breaking of our rules of competition. So, beginning this Saturday, we will start more rigorous pre & post race tech.

One of our top priorities this weekend will be safety equipment including age and rating of helmets, gloves, suits, belts, cage installations, etc. We will also be looking for mounted fire bottles (per USRA recommendation), proper Raceiver operation and several, illegal performance enhancers in all classes. Valve covers may be removed and so forth!

Please be prepared to be inspected pre-race and Top 3 in every class, post race.

This is NOT a one time deal. We will be exercising far more detailed and in depth Tech inspections from this point onward and will be adding personnel to help Matt accomplish this objective.

Thank you for your cooperation in making racing at ECMP safer and better!

After all the drama and excitement of last weekend, the championship points are crazy close! The top two drivers in the Sooner Mod Challenge and the ECMP Factory Stocks are currently TIED for 1st Place and the top two in the Dirt Dog Sprints and Gateway Church Tuners are just 6 and 22 points apart respectively.

Elk City’s Austin Bonner and last years champ, Woodward’s Jeffrey Kaup, are tied at the top of the Sooner Mod Challenge with 182 points each.

In the ECMP Factory Stocks, Clinton’s Race Elliott & Crawford’s Adam Pearson have each snagged a victory this year with the other right on their tail both times. They are tied for first place with 195 points each.

In the Dirt Dog Sprint Series, veteran Robert Sellers (Mustang, OK) leads young gun, Kayden Kole (Moore, OK) by just 6 points, with the rivalry getting testy last race when Sellers (running 2nd) and race leader Cole came together with Cole’s car making hard into the front stretch wall, destroying Kayden’s car. We’ll see who comes back to fight for the $10,000 in cash & prizes going to the season champ!

In the Gateway Church Tuners, our 2023 champ got a rare penalty last race for leaving the track without going to tech after winning the feature. The mistake cost Kollin Teafatiller 46 points which dropped him to 5th in the championship with Enid’s David Sellers claiming the top spot, 22 points ahead of Shamrock, TX’s Michael Reyes.

Can’t wait to see what happens next! EVERY RACE MATTERS!
