Elizabethtown Fall Classic Half Marathon

We’re sorry to announce that, for a myriad of reasons, we will not be hosting the Elizabethtown Fall Classic Half Marathon & 5K in 2019.

This is not the end of the event, we are merely taking a break (just like Ross & Rachel!) for this year and plan on returning in 2020.

For those already registered, a refund of your registration and processing fees has been sent to your original form of payment.

We will be in touch once we finalize the plans for 2020 so you can plan accordingly.

Keep running and stay hydrated in this summer heat!

Hey ya'll! The 3 Way Racing team crashed pretty hard last night. We're still wrapping up all the details from race day and one final email will go out to participants soon.

We are so grateful to all who had a hand in making race day amazing! The Elizabethtown Police Department, Elizabethtown Sports Park, City of Elizabethtown Parks and Recreation, Hinton's Orchard & Farm Market, James Hummel - our favorite MC, DJ Sports Photos, and so many others!

All the volunteers who came out on behalf of USA Cares and United Way of the Bluegrass, YOU ARE AWESOME! These folks stood in the cold for hours to staff the water stops, serve the post-race food, and congratulate all finishers with their medals.

Most importantly - a huge, huge thank you to Will Rivera, Running Soles, LLC, and the Central Kentucky running community! Everyone at 3 Way Racing is honored to be entrusted with this race showcasing the very best of Hardin County landscape and people. We love how all the runners supported each other yesterday and find that to be a fabulous testament to the community Will & Running Soles has built in the Elizabethtown area.

We're already looking forward to next year! We'll let ya'll know as soon as registration is up and running so we can do it all again!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning for a great race through Elizabethtown. Here are a few reminders for tomorrow morning.

If you are coming the Bluegrass Parkway, be aware the exit ramp to I-65 SOUTH is closed, you will need to take I-65 NORTH to exit 94. You can just stay on that road (Highway 62/Mulberry) to get to the Elizabethtown Sports Park.

We will open packet pickup at 6:30 am and run until 7:30 am. Everyone should have their race number picked up by 7:30 am so that we can start the race on time.

There is plenty of parking at or near the Soccer Pavilion inside the Sports Park.

All shirts have been claimed at this time. If you did not get a shirt or are interested in swapping sizes, check with us at the end of the race. We will swap shirts out of those not picked up and allow those who did not receive a shirt to pick from available inventory.

Get a good nights sleep, and we will see you in the morning!

We’re packing up now! Runners will get the white long sleeve Brooks shirt and volunteers get the orange tee. Emails with final reminders are headed out soon. See you at packet pickup tomorrow at Running Soles, LLC between 4-6 PM!

Emails are heading out to all registered participants today but we know you are eager to know, so here are the packet pickup details:

PRE-RACE BIB PICK UP:

Pre-race bib pickup will be Saturday, Oct 27th, from 4 pm to 6 pm at Running Soles, LLC - 16 Public Square, Elizabethtown KY 270-737-0294.

SAME DAY PACKET PICK UP:

We will be at the Elizabethtown Sports Park Pavilion from 6:30-7:30 am to distribute race bibs and shirts on race morning, but please try to pickup your race bib on Saturday if you can. Runners only need a photo ID and show military ID if discount was used during registration process. If you are picking up another runner's bib you will need a copy of their ID. NO EXCEPTIONS!
