Volunteers Needed-people and horses. Friday October 9th 2026 is the Sunshine Rodeo at Cross Roads Cowboy Church in El Paso AR

it is kinda like a fall fest Cowboy style for disabled kids. We always need horses that we can lead them on a short ride/ loop. The horse will need to be able to walk up between two wooden platforms for the children to get on. If you have a horse that you would like to try please be at the arena around 8am. The main arena will be available for you to ride and warm up your horse before we go to arena 2 to lead the kids. Why do I need to ride and warm up my horse you ask. Because there will be a lot going on in the arena when the kids get there, and I have seen good broke horses come undone. So please use the main arena to get your horse prepared. Then you can bring them to arena 2 to let them see and walk through the platforms before the kids get there. The kids should be there by9 am and we are usually done by1-2pm. This is giving these kids a little bit of the life we are blessed to live everyday.

If you do not have a horse, volunteers are still needed in other areas. Would love to have you out to help make this a special day for the kids. If you would like to volunteer, please be at the arena by 8:00 am. Thank you
