Thank you El Paso baseball community for the support and opportunity to offer a NEW tournament experience!! We wanted to make sure that teams, parents, and coaches had a different tournament experience and that it wouldn’t feel like another local tournament.
As of right now we do not have any future dates to run another tournament. However, with the help and support of the El Paso baseball community, we can reach out and work with the El Paso Sports Commission and the Plex in order to attain more dates to host Alpha Sports tournaments. This post will be shared with the El Paso Sports Commission and the Plex, please leave a comment of support to help make the change!

Thank you D-Bat West for coming out and offering the baseball community the hottest new gear and equipment!

Thank you Torque for coming out and running the Homerun Derby and Pitching Challenge! Also a huge thank you for donating the Homerun Derby winner Overfly Custom Wood Bats as well as offering the winners 4 FREE training sessions!!

Thank you Blue Star for making the tournament apparel and Championship banners! Also thank you for sponsoring $150 certificates for the Championship winning teams to redeem at Blue Star!!

Thank you to the Texas Majors players and families for making sure the tournament ran smoothly, from team check-ins, to taking registrations for the Torque Challenge, to taking orders for tournament apparel. The boys also worked hard dragging and raking the fields after every game, chased down foul balls, and kept the umpires hydrated. It definitely was an all around team effort! Day 1 of the very first Latino World Baseball Championships is in the books! Don't forget to sign-up for the Torque EP Challenge Homerun Derby, Max Exit Velocity, Furthest
Hit Ball, and the Max Pitching Velocity! All players are eligible to compete in ALL challenges for $5! Sign-up and compete at your convenience anytime on Saturday between 9:00AM-3:00PM or Sunday anytime between 8:00AM-12:00 noon! Make sure to get your tournament gear available starting Saturday! 🔥 2026 Don Haskins Memorial was ELECTRIC! 🔥
Non-stop action, high-level competition, and energy all weekend long!
This tournament is only in its 3rd year back, and it just keeps getting BIGGER and BETTER every year. We had over 30 out-of-town teams pull up to West Texas, El Paso—and we appreciate every single one of you for making the trip! We hope you enjoyed the experience and we’ll see you back next year! 💪

Because of Easter Sunday, we had to adjust the dates this year—but we’re back to our regular schedule in 2027!

Huge shoutout to our host schools: Hanks, Pebble Hills, Riverside, Bel Air, and Del Valle High School—this doesn’t happen without you! 🙌
