Cancer has touched so many of our lives. Whether you’re currently battling cancer, celebrating a survivor, honoring someone you’ve lost, or simply want to stand alongside those who are fighting—you are invited to be part of something meaningful.

On Saturday, August 8, our community will come together to honor the life and legacy of Edward Anthony Hernandez while supporting the Hernandez family during this difficult time.

🕐 Event Ends: 1:00 PM

The 5K Fun Run and 1-Mile Walk are FREE and open to everyone. If you’d like to make a donation, you’ll receive a commemorative finisher medal, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Hernandez family.

🧡 In Memory of Edward Anthony Hernandez 🧡

Unfortunately, today we received the heartbreaking news of Edward’s passing.

Although he is no longer with us, we will still be hosting the LFTCure 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk in honor of his life, his strength, and the legacy he leaves behind.

All proceeds from this event will go directly to the Hernandez family to help with funeral expenses, unpaid medical bills, and whatever support they need during this incredibly difficult time—including allowing them the time to be together and heal.

Edward was a loving husband, father, family man, and friend whose courage touched so many lives. We invite our community to come together to celebrate his life, honor his memory, and remind his family that they are not alone.

Whether you choose to run, walk, volunteer, donate, or simply share this event, every act of kindness makes a difference.
