🎯 417 Rec hit the road to Linn Creek today! 🎯
We took 3 teams and had a great day of shooting, cheering each other on, and making memories!

Older Boys – 10th Place
Junior Boys – 3rd Place
Girls – 9th Place

It may not have been the outcome we were hoping for, but that’s part of the sport! We’re proud of every one of these kids for showing up, competing, and giving it their best.
At the end of the day, it was still a fun day with a great group of kids! 💥

🎯 417 Rec Trap Team Spotlight – Parker Norman🎯

This week we’re shining the spotlight on Parker Norman!

Parker is a great kid who stays busy both on and off the trap field. When he’s not shooting, you can find him out on the golf course or working alongside his grandpa. ⛳️

One thing you can always count on with Parker is a good laugh! He has a great sense of humor and is always finding a way to make the people around him smile and have a good time.

Parker is also a great role model for the younger kids on our team. He’s a hard worker, respectful, and someone they can look up to. We love seeing our older shooters set a positive example for the next group coming through.

We’re proud to have Parker as part of the 417 Rec Trap Team and can’t wait to see what he accomplishes this season! 💥🎯

Keep being you, Parker, and keep making everyone laugh!

🎯 417 REC SHOOTER SPOTLIGHT - RYLUN MAYS🎯

Hard working is probably one of the best ways to describe Rylun. When he isn’t on the trap field, you can find him playing football or basketball, and when he isn’t playing sports, he’s working on the farm. He definitely isn’t afraid of a little hard work!

One thing we really admire about Rylun is his determination. Whether he has a great round or one that doesn’t go quite the way he wanted, he doesn’t give up or get down on himself. He keeps going, keeps working, and comes back ready to try again.

That attitude makes Rylun a great example for the younger kids on our team to look up to. He shows that success isn’t just about talent—it’s about working hard, having a good attitude, and never giving up.

We are proud to have Rylun as part of our 417 Rec family and can’t wait to see what he continues to accomplish on and off the field! 🎯💥🏈🏀

Edit! I forgot to mention how much praise our younger boys got for how well they carried themselves today. No jacking around, they all listened well had great gun safety. That is something we all love to hear about our kiddos!

We took 3 teams to Adrian today for a trap shoot.

Our older boys brought home first place. The younger boys didn’t shoot to shabby either.

Chet brought home Top Shooter for 18U for the second year in a row.

Those adult men, well we don’t need to talk about how they shot! 😬

Enjoy a few pictures. Great shoot 417Rec!
