Saturday, October 11th St. Madeleine Sophie's Center held their annual SPOOKEASY Blackout Party.

Guest gathered in the secret garden featuring eerie, black, light decorations, live DJ, costume contest, scavenger, hunt, gourmet food, drinks, and a cigar bar.

The proceeds to this event goes towards providing quality, service and programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities that nurture each individual’s potential to live life to the fullest.

September 26, 2025 was Opening Night and the Tapping of the Keg, the Crowning of our 2025 Königin (Queen) Oktoberfest in El Cajon! Representatives from Senator Brian Jones, Supervisor Joel Anderson, City of Santee City Council, St. Madeleine Sophie's Center, and Jordan Marks - Assessor Taxpayer Advocate attended the event.

Mike Anderson had the honor of tapping the keg on his 30th year anniversary of dedication to the Oktoberfest.

If you missed opening weekend you are in luck Oktoberfest runs Oct 3, 4 and 5.

Saturday March 29th East County Posse held their 25th annual East County Night Alice In Wonderland " Mad Hatter" gala. This gala is one of their big annual fundraisers that allow them to serve the community.

East County Posse is a nonprofit dedicated to helping East County residents in need of a hand up. Through donations of time, skills and financial support, ECP volunteers make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most, right here in our community.
