Hi neighbors and friends! 🌿

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share what’s growing here locally at Season’s Eden Glamping Retreat and the future Eden Arboretum & Gardens.

Season’s Eden is a small nature-centered retreat designed to give people a peaceful place to slow down, enjoy the outdoors, fish, walk the trails, gather around the fire, attend workshops, and spend time together as families and neighbors. This year is our pilot season, which means we’re starting simply with primitive camping, small events, fishing evenings, women’s groups, classes in the dome, and community gatherings as we continue building step by step. 🔥🎣🌳

Alongside that, we are beginning the long-term vision for the Eden Arboretum & Gardens, a nonprofit project focused on conservation, native plants, education, and creating a beautiful outdoor space that future generations in our area can enjoy. The goal is to build something lasting for the Lake community — a place where kids can learn, families can gather, and nature can be appreciated year-round. 🌼🌱

This is truly a community-first project. I’m especially excited to:
• Partner with local groups and neighbors
• Support outdoor learning and conservation
• Host small events and workshops
• Create opportunities for volunteers
• Build something our area can be proud of together

This is a creative portfolio-building opportunity unlike anything else.

🌱 Conservation Internship – Eden Arboretum & Gardens 🌱

The newly approved Eden Arboretum & Gardens nonprofit is welcoming Summer Conservation Interns!

This internship is ideal for students interested in sustainability, native plants, trails, outdoor education, or environmental nonprofits.

Internship Details:
• 8 weeks
• 8–12 flexible hours weekly
• Completion stipend available
• Volunteer credit hours
• Resume-worthy conservation project experience

Responsibilities:
• Assist with trail planning and mapping
• Help identify native plant areas
• Support pollinator garden installation
• Participate in volunteer coordination
• Help develop future arboretum learning spaces

Interns will help shape what becomes a long-term public nature destination in the Lake of the Ozarks region.

Season’s Eden Glamping Retreat is looking for a Summer Events & Guest Experience Intern to help us during our pilot season as we prepare for our Grand Opening year!

This is a hands-on opportunity to help host fishing derbies, women’s groups, workshops, community nights, and private dome events like baby showers and retreats.

Internship Details:
• 8-week program
• Flexible 8–12 hours per week
• Small completion stipend
• Free event access
• Letter of recommendation
• Real leadership experience (not coffee runs!)

Responsibilities:
• Help coordinate events in the dome
• Welcome guests and support check-ins
• Assist with campfire gatherings and fishing derby nights
• Support workshop setup and teardown
• Help create a magical guest experience

Perfect for students interested in hospitality, recreation, tourism, education, or community leadership.
