This 5-day event is the largest show of its kind east of Denver, Colorado. Items for sale include dinosaurs, mineral specimens, common and rare gems, common and achingly rare fossils, petrified wood, artisan jewelry, meteorites, sharks teeth, opals, sapphires, silver, gold, beads, science gifts, unique interior decor, and so much, much more. Hands-on kid activities include metal detection, gem sluicing, geode cracking, and touching real dinosaur bones and p**p. Family friendly, free parking, free wi-fi and the modest admission fee is maxed at $30 for families on weekdays and $35 on Sundays. The show is held annually in the 150,000 sq. foot NJ Convention & Exposition Center (a.k.a. "NJ Expo Center") located in Raritan Center. The address for your GPS is 97 Sunfield Ave, Edison, NJ. We're located 1.5 miles off I-287 / Route 440 and there's easy access via the NJ Turnpike, Garden State Parkway, and Routes 1 and 9. We're 15 minutes south of Newark International Airport and 5 miles west of Staten Island. We don't offer discounts because our cost structure is based on all attendees paying the same ticket price. If we were to do discounts then we'd have to raise the ticket fees to everyone else to ensure no loss of revenue against our massive advertising expenses. We have been asked for discounts by first responders, school field trips, senior citizens, active-duty military, military retirees, church organizers, Boy Scouts, union members, mineral club members, Big Brother/Big Sisters, homeschool groups, NJ State workers, and many more. We hope that you understand our situation and the impossibility of accommodating all those requests.
