TIERRAS Percussion Competition The TIERRAS South Texas Percussion Competition offers a platform for high school and college students to compete in two categories: Keyboard and Snare Drum.

Hi, I am Chia Yu Lin from UT Austin or you can call me Erika.

I was fortunate to win first prize in the Tierras Marimba Competition in 2024 and I am so excited I will be back to perform in the Winner's Showcase Concert!

This competition is well organized and gives us enough warm up time to prepare before the show time which is very important for every performer. I really appreciated that! They also provided some interesting and helpful clinics which are open to every candidate so don't miss the clinics there.

I am looking forward to meeting all of you and playing for you on January 24th!
