Tiders to the rescue! Many thanks to Henry and Zach (HZ Lawncare LLC) for getting our clay stockpile to its new location. This locally sourced clay has been residing at member Fred Maves’ home for many months. EHS student Henry and Fort Atkinson student Zach took on the job of moving it to site of the former Pauline Jacobus pottery studio for future use - and just in time before the weather turns nasty! If you need any lawn or yard work done, we recommend these young entrepreneurs. Thank you Henry and Zach!

**Reminder!** If you created a clay masterpiece at the Edgerton Pottery &Art Festival, you can bring it to Silverwood Park this Saturday to glaze it!

We’ll be there with glazes and brushes! If you have a pottery piece from the recent Festival, bring it to Silverwood’s Harvest Fest and we’ll help you glaze it for firing ($5 fee).

The Friends of Silverwood Park are hosting a Harvest Festival on Saturday, August 23 from 10 AM to 2 PM in Silverwood Park - Dane County, Wisconsin! With free admission, this festival will have live music, market vendors selling everything from fresh produce to homemade pie, garden & farm tours, and kids activities & crafts. 🌳☀️🍅🥕

Plus, don't miss the pottery and composting demonstrations!

A little rain in the morning gave way to a busy, fun-filled, creative day at the 10th Edgerton Pottery and Art Festival. Thanks for coming out to learn about the history of clay in Edgerton and to get messy making art! As always, our volunteers are everything and we thank them profusely!

There are LOTS of opportunities awaiting you at Saturday's Edgerton Pottery & Art Festival:
- Wheel throwing lessons
- Handbuilding projects
- Clay stomps
- Learn some Edgerton history in clay and beyond
- VENDORS! You'll find plenty of pottery for sale, wooden goods, stained glass pieces, restyled denim wear, and delicious home-baked goods.

Where: along the Swift Street side of Central Park, just a few blocks from the downtown area.
