⛪ A Pioneer Days Tradition: The Edgerton Community Church Service 🌳

Did you know that a community church service in the park has been part of Edgerton Pioneer Days weekend for more than 50 years?

A community church service has been held in the park during Pioneer Days at least as far back as 1971. For generations, churches throughout the Edgerton community have come together during Pioneer Days weekend to share in worship, fellowship, and the celebration of our community.

What makes this tradition so special is that it brings people from different congregations together as one community. It is a reminder that while we may worship in different churches throughout the year, there is much that unites us.

As of 2026, the churches participating in the Edgerton Community Church Service include:

✝️ Edgerton Christian Church
✝️ Ridgley Christian Church
✝️ Mt. Zion Baptist Church
✝️ Edgerton Mission

For more than half a century, this service has been a meaningful part of Pioneer Days weekend. It is a tradition that connects today's community with the generations who came before us—and one we hope will continue for many years to come.

We are grateful to all of the churches, pastors, musicians, volunteers, and community members who have helped carry on this special tradition. ❤️

Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, and a beverage for a suggested donation of $8, Pancakes are all you can eat.

5% of all proceeds support the Community Food Network, a local food pantry in Dearborn that serves the North Platte R-1 school district area.

Proceeds support Veterans, community and youth.
