Held in the picturesque setting of Powder Mountain Ski Resort, El Doce at Pow Mow is Northern Utah's premier 12-hour Mountain Bike Event. Dear El Doce Riders,

This new year is shaping up to be an exciting one full of events, programming, and other activities for the GOAL Foundation - Get Out And Live. With long, deliberate, and deep consideration, it has been decided that El Doce 12 Hour Mountain Bike Race won't make it to the calendar in 2024.

The decision to shelve this event is rooted in GOAL's internal evaluation of sustainability, economics and how we can best serve the Greater Ogden Community this year. In navigating this decision, we were humbled by the continued support and commitment from Powder Mountain Resort to host the event with very favorable terms and conditions.

With that, we'd like to extend a generous thank you to all the amazing participants and supporters of this event that were crucial to its incredible success over the last six years. First and foremost, Powder Mountain's gracious willingness for the past use and continued commitment to allow the event to occur can't go without recognition, nor can the long list of dignified "Ambassadors" who brought the energy and excitement of the race year after year.

In addition, we would like to recognize the many amazing sponsors and community partners whose partnership was integral to the life of this event and deserve far more than just a thank you: Roosters Brewing Company (our title sponsor), The Bike Shoppe, Intermountain Health, Young Subaru, Integrated Tax, Admiral Beverage Company, Daily Rise Coffee, Osprey, Hyperthreads, Grip it Sports, Maceys, Fleet Feet Utah, Visit Ogden, Ogden City, and Weber County.

Once you’re fueled up and ready to conquer the trails, head over to the MANDATORY pre-race meeting by the GOAL tent near the start line. Don't be late! ⏰

🚵‍♀️ El Doce Mountain Bike Race is TOMORROW! Can you believe it?! See below👇 for a few reminders and be ready to kick back in the best seat in the house at the Roosters Brewing Co. Chill Zone 🐔🧊 while your teammates conquer their laps. Sip on a frosty beverage 🍻 while watching riders pass through the Integrated Tax Accounting Transition Zone and enjoy the vibes and view.

🚗 CAR POOLING is the way to go! Parking is very limited at this event. Please ride to and from with your teammates—it's not every day you get to smell someone at their most extreme. Sweaty feet = an ultimate team bonding experience! 🧦 🧦

Thanks for reducing emissions and helping make sure there is space for everyone to park close by.

☀️ Prepare for a sizzling day on the mountain! The sun will be shining high, so bring your shades 🕶️, sunscreen, and hydrate like a pro! 💦 Remember we are at high elevation up at and you will dehydrate faster than normal. Come prepared so you have an epic time out on the trails. 🤙

Epic trails dotted with wildflowers 🌸🌻and stunning views ⛰️ await you tomorrow at El Doce!

You will start your ride at the Timberline Lodge and soon hit the trails.

First up, a climb through the beautiful aspen groves and forests 🌲 of Subalpine fir up Woody’s World. You won’t miss the iconic Paper Airplane ✈️ trail before enjoying awe inspiring views as you descend the challenging switchbacks of Baggage Claim 🧳.

You may pick up some speed as you descend into Powder Mountain marquee trail, the IMBA-built Brim Trail, known as one of the best trails in the state of Utah!

You will gain some serious elevation as you pedal to the top of Doctor’s Dozen 🩺 and enjoy the stunning views looking into Mary’s Bowl with the High Uintahs in the distance. Then, a weave through meadows of high alpine wildflowers and a climb to the top of Hidden Lake Lift.

Ease off those pedals as you begin to descend to Britton’s Ribbon and pass under the historic Timberline Lift before entering the forests of Exterminator, Dynamite and Powder Keg 💣. You’ll wrap up with a flowy descent back to the Timberline Lodge to complete your loop. How many more will you complete before time’s up? That’s up to you! 🏁
