One of the biggest hits every single year… the FREE Kids Trout Pond! 🎣🐟

Watching kids light up when they catch their very first fish never gets old 💙

If your little rockhound needs a break from hunting Petoskey stones, this is always a must-stop at the festival!

Thanks again to everyone who helped make this activity possible during our 20th Annual Petoskey Stone Festival at Barnes Park in Eastport!

Did your kids catch one this year?! Drop your photos in the comments! 👇

We were honored to welcome National Cherry Festival Queen Ainslee 🍒 to this year’s Petoskey Stone Festival!

Her presence brought such a special touch to our 20th anniversary celebration, and we are incredibly grateful for her participation in crowning this year’s deserving Betty Dinger Award recipient.

Thank you, Queen Ainslee, for taking the time to enjoy the festivities, connect with so many attendees, and help make this milestone festival such a memorable occasion. We truly appreciated having you as part of the celebration!

What was YOUR favorite part of the 20th Annual Petoskey Stone Festival?! 👀💙

I’ll go first… I ALWAYS love when the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Traverse City shows up!! How cool was this flyover?! 🚁🌊

Between the vendors, live music, K9 demo, raptors, kids activities, stone hunt, and amazing crowd… this year truly felt extra special. THANK YOU all again for making our 20th year one to remember!!

Now it’s YOUR turn! Drop your favorite memories and photos from the festival in the comments… we LOVE seeing the day through everyone else’s eyes! 📸👇

Well… that’s a wrap! ❤️

What a PERFECT way to celebrate 20 years of the Petoskey Stone Festival.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU to our sponsors, vendors, volunteers, entertainers, food vendors, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make yesterday such an incredible success.

But most importantly… thank YOU.

So many of you traveled from near and far to celebrate Michigan’s state stone with us at Barnes Park, and because of you, this was truly one of the BEST festivals we’ve ever had. The crowds, the laughter, the beach full of rockhounds, the kids activities, the music, the demos… it was everything we hoped for and more. 💙

And fun fact… this entire crazy thing is organized by a core group of less than 10 volunteers!
So if you saw one of us speed-walking around Barnes Park looking slightly sleep deprived yesterday… no you didn’t.😂

Seeing this community show up the way you did made every late night and chaotic planning meeting completely worth it. Thank you for helping us celebrate 20 amazing years of the Petoskey Stone Festival. ❤️

Now excuse us while we recover for about 3 business weeks 😂🪨

PS. We’ll be catching up on highlight posts, photos, and festival moments over the next few days… so stay tuned! ❤️

🚨 PSA: Barnes Park is not the place to test your luck with technology 🚨

• Cell service? Questionable at best
• Wi-Fi? Absolutely not 😂
• ATM? Nope… not here

Translation: if you show up depending on your card… you might be eating vibes for lunch.

Bring. Cash. 💵

Yes, some vendors may take cards… but when the signal disappears, so does that option real quick.

There is an ATM at Eastport Market if you forget… but do yourself a favor and come prepared.

Consider it part of the experience… unplug, enjoy the lake, and shop like it’s 2005 😎

We’ve got some familiar tunes coming back this year… 👀

🎶 Kenny Thompson is returning to the Petoskey Stone Festival! 🎶

If you’ve been before, you already know… his music + a day on the lake + a park full of rockhounds = the perfect vibe 💙

He’ll be playing throughout the day while you’re hunting for stones, shopping handmade vendors, and soaking up everything PSF has to offer.
