Celebrate the changing seasons with a 5k around Easton’s Centre Square! This is an un-supported “race” — meaning that there are no bibs, no official timer, and the responsibility to be careful is up to you! Starting promptly at 6am on the morning of the Solstice or Equinox, runners will go around the circle for 1/2 mile and then change directions for the next 1/2 mile... and so on to completion. Each half mile is APPROXIMATELY 5 laps. Might be different on your watch and dependent on if you stay closer to the inside or outside. I’m not a scientist. Be careful and mindful of your fellow runners! High-fives are encouraged. The winner will be recorded on the board of victory! This is rain, snow, or shine and will not be rescheduled if there are dangerous conditions. On those days, Mother Nature will be declared the victor. Above all: do no harm and have fun.
