Main Street is now closed to vehicular traffic as we begin vendor set up until 3:00. Please find alternate routes and come down at 3 to kick-off the celebration!
Come down early and spend the afternoon, the Dominion Energy Fireworks Spectacular will begin at 9pm!

Road Closures / Parking for Celebrate East Lyme This Saturday, July 15th:
There will be no on-street parking permitted on Main Street, Niantic from Lake Avenue to Pennsylvania Avenue starting at 10:00 a.m. this Saturday, July 15th as preparations will be underway for the 21st Annual Celebrate East Lyme Festivities! This same section of Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic at 12:00 p.m. and will not reopen until 11:00 p.m.
Bring your family and friends and join us as Niantic's Main Street transforms into a spectacular celebration by the sea, filled with food, fun and fabulous activities for everyone in the family!
Where should you park for Celebrate East Lyme?
Because this is such a popular event, available spots will fill up quickly. Check with your neighbors, friends and family members and consider carpooling! Public parking is available at the Municipal parking lot on Hope Street, Town Hall on Pennsylvania Avenue, Cini Park on Main Street, McCook Park on Atlantic Avenue and Niantic Center School on West Main Street.
Handicapped parking will be available on Methodist Street and the former gas station property at the end of Pennsylvania Avenue. Police will be checking for handicapped place cards.
Come down early and enjoy our beautiful town! There are plenty of great places to grab breakfast! Great shops to visit, and of course our beautiful beaches & boardwalk! Don’t forget the sand castle competition at 9 a.m. at Hole in the Wall Beach! Vendors will be ready to kick off the annual celebration at 3:00 p.m.!
PLEASE NOTE: The Hole in the Wall parking lot off of Main Street is not blocked off from the public, but if you do not remove your vehicle from the lot by noon, you will be stuck in the lot until after the fireworks!

Celebrate East Lyme is coming quick! With about a week away, we want to share one of our vendors who is doing a food drive in support of East Lyme Care & Share! We encourage you to bring non-perishable food items, health and beauty supplies to benefit local families to the LJ Shore Realty Booth (located near Gumdrops & Lollipops)!
