IT IS OUR PRIVILEGE TO CREATE THE ENRIQUE LOPEZ COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD IN RECOGNITION OF DR. ENRIQUE LOPEZ, WHO SERVED THE LANSING COMMUNITY FAITHFULLY FOR MORE THAN 20 YEARS. BEYOND HIS EXCELLENT CLINICAL SKILL, HE WAS WELL KNOWN TO BE KIND, ENGAGING, AND WARM. HIS WORK WITH OLDER PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES WAS A PARTICULAR SOURCE OF PRIDE.

THIS YEAR WE WILL PRESENT THE DR. ENRIQUE LOPEZ COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD TO DR. LOPEZā€™S FAMILY. IN YEARS TO COME, THE AWARD WILL BE PRESENTED TO AN INDIVIDUAL WHO SHARED DR. LOPEZā€™S ENTHUSIASM AND PASSION FOR WORKING WITH OLDER ADULTS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
