They say the neon lights are bright on Broadway…..
……..and they are shining once again on Main Street.

Thanks to some repair and love from AA SIGN AND AWNING the grande dame of Main Street has her marquee glowing once again. Keeping the the historic neon sign at the GREENWICH HOTEL shining brightly requires near constant maintenance and repair. “It’s a labor of love” said proprietor JOANN JOSEPH “because Main Street just wouldn’t be the same without it”.

We agree.

🙏💔

“Jigger“ John Kirkland Jr.
1/2/46 - 9/29/26

Jigger John passed today. He was a beloved fixture at the Greenwich Hotel.

His nickname was born from his time working at Jiggers Diner. He worked as a desk clerk for the Hotel and lived there for many years.

Johnny was a huge sports fan. He loved to read books and play video games. Back in the early days, he used to play the jukebox and dance holding his drink glass on his head. His sweet personality made him a friend to all. He was a genuinely kind man. We will miss him.

Dance away Johnny. May you Rest in peace.
