A post like this is never easy to write, but we will give it our best effort.
We have the unfortunate final task of announcing the end of Happy Harry's Hot Valley Nights. We have been fortunate to facilitate 8 years of great music, fun, and community gathering. However, with any event there comes a great deal of time commitment and risk, and given the current climate of rising costs and the continued factor of mother nature, we feel that we took this to a place we could have only dreamed. But with everything in life, all good things must come to an end.
We emphatically thank our sponsors, volunteers, and those of you who have made this event a yearly destination. A special thank you to Greg Rixen and Happy Harry's, Leighton Broadcating, and the HVN committee who worked so hard year after year. We hope that someone down the road feels the need to take a chance on something like this and we would welcome any advice we can give.
