✨RUSSIAN CIRCLES✨
Collectively, one of the FITM team’s most anticipated albums of 2026 was Russian Circles, “Nine”. A powerful, goes-straight-for-your-heart, style record that throughout makes you feel suspended between multidimensional soundscapes and deep breaths of introspection. The bands body of work is astounding and we cannot wait to see what they bring to the stage at the 2027 festival.
The band shared the following statement:
“We are beyond thrilled to be a part of the 2027 edition of Fire In The Mountains. In an era where festival season often feels like a series of corporate-sponsored lowest-common-denominator events, it’s truly special to find a well-curated independent festival of underground artists that serves as a conference of like-minded souls. Additionally, the festival’s affiliation with the Firekeeper Alliance—the Blackfeet Nation’s su***de prevention and mental wellness organization—demonstrates their commitment to addressing the very real anguish and desperation that is so often at the root of this kind of music. As a band that includes an indigenous member and someone who has worked in youth services with the Muckleshoot tribe in Washington, this collaboration with the Blackfeet Nation is particularly pertinent. And of course, we’re just super excited to hang out, see amazing bands, and share this experience in one of the most gorgeous parts of the continent. “
