East Durham Feis The East Durham Feis is an Irish dance competition held every year on the 4th Saturday in August. The purpose of this page is to promote this event.

Schedule for East Durham Feis will be posted on the MJQ Irish Cultural & Sports Centre website soon. Schedule has been emailed to all participants. If you didn't receive it, check your Junk Box in case it went in there (how rude!). There are a few little updates to the schedule: Prelim 403 has been combined with 404 and will dance on Stage 1 in the afternoon. Prelim 407 is combined with 408 and will dance on Stage 2 in the afternoon. Feis is closed to entries, but registered dancers who wish to participate in the Bridget Flynn Reidy Memorial Slip Jig may sign up side stage on Saturday. This is one step of the slip jig, freestyle and artistic. Bridget certainly supported her Championship dancers, but she also loved to encourage all dancers to recognize the beauty of the music and highlight the love of the dance. This is what the competition will embody. Enjoy the beautiful Catskills.

It was a wonderful weekend in the Catskills and a glorious feis! So, why don't you go back again for another great time! The East Durham Feis will be held on Saturday, August 22 at the beautiful Michael J Quill Irish Cultural and Sports Center. There will be great music and dancing along with a special Memorial Tribute Competition in honor of Bridget Flynn Reidy. And you can sleep in and enjoy the clean mountain air, it's a 10 a.m. start!! Entries are open on FeisWeb.

East Durham feis is open for entries via Feisweb… come to the second feis of the summer in the heart of the “Irish Alps”. The feis takes place on 8/22 on the grounds of the MJQ Irish Cultural & Sports Centre.
All dancing is done under huge pavilions with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Plenty of parking and bathrooms… come to the Catskills☘️💙

We are getting all set up for the feis on Saturday 8/23 on the grounds of the beautiful MJQ Irish Cultural & Sports Centre. The vendors will be Head for the World, Fays Dancing Shoes and Sports Apparel.
Feisweb has enabled printing your competitor numbers so skip the line and print your own number.. printed cards will also be available at the feis.
Friday and Saturday evenings, there is plenty of entertainment in town. Andy Cooney will be performing at McGrath's Edgewood Falls, Ryan McCombe will be performing Friday and Saturday night at Gavins Irish Country Inn… live entertainment at The Shamrock House, Blackthorne Resort, Five Furlongs and our newest business in town, Reilly’s!
Don’t forget to shop at the town’s “Crown Jewel”, Guaranteed Irish Shop, you’ll definitely want to pick up some sweet treats for the trip home☘️💙☘️
