This is Jessica Valtierra and i just wanted to thank you all for coming to the Eagle ride! The weather was perfect finally!! I also just wanted to give you an update on my mom, Veronica Simpson! She had to be airlifted off the hillside on Sunday! She was on a relaxing trail ride with friends and something happened, and she came off Cash. We weren't able to move her off the hillside, so once she let us call 911 (she is one tough woman) Eagle Fire Department was there on their side by side in minutes! They were great! Found out she had an L1 compression fracture, but it looks stable so she should be able to come home today! She wanted to let everyone know that she is so thankful for all the help and support!!! Tyler, Layne Bownds Lewis son was an amazing help, as well as his two awesome kids, while they had to wait for us to get there! I was thankful to Jennifer Leach and Steve for following Vincent Valtierra and I up the road to assess my mom! We just wanted to say we love this community! You guys are simply the best and we can't thank you enough for your love and support! Hope to see most of you at COR and we will see you in October for beautiful weather this year! Thank you all! 🤗
