Pulse Endurance Runs The Pulse Endurance Runs 48/24/12/6 Hour Runs is a beautiful and flat fixed-time Looped Course race. All races use this same loop, including the 100 mile.

You were always looking for a timed race without pavement hurting your feet; at the Pulse Endurance Runs, you can enjoy nature while running on a beautiful ~2.5 mile flat dirt trail loop bordering the Boise River and Eagle Island pond. This race was formerly the Pickled Feet Runs; The Pulse Running & Fitness Shop started directing it in 2017.

We had a couple of last minute volunteer cancelations.

One is for the Aid Station on Saturday 3/21 from 10am-2pm.

The other is for Course Security on Saturday 3/21 from 4am-8am.

I wanted to send this out and give everyone the opportunity to support this great non profit if you are interested. There is no pressure to participate as this weekend is about personal goals, running with friends, making new ones, supporting our amazing running community and of course having fun!

Idaho COBS is doing some great work here in Idaho. Jef and I are excited to sponsor three amazing runners Jose Cervantes, Emily Wooley and Brian Strouf for $1 per lap. We're excited to see how they do!
I'm also going to do the situp and pushup challenges, but it's a big no for the Burpees, honestly I'd rather donate NOT to do Burpees! haha

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks! We have a great new sponsor for our post race food. I'm always happy to support a local business, especially when it's just a great business ran by friends!

For our post race food Eagle Coffee & Bakery will be providing our post race burritos. Please reply and let me know which awesome choice you choose. We need to have our order in by Monday the 16th.

Option 1 - Fiesta Chicken
Option 2 - Bacon, egg and cheese
Option 3 - Vegan Thai (tofu, coconut milk, thai peanut sauce, veggies, spices, nuts, jasmine rice)

If you have any special requests for aid station food please let me know and I'll do my best to make it happen!

We have several volunteer spots still available for the event. The most critical need is for the Aid Station on Friday and Saturday during the 2am-6am slot. It’s definitely the most fun time, especially when you chat with sleep deprived race directors!

We also have lots of options for course security which entails being on the course during the nighttime hours to ensure runner safety.

You can sign up here using the Volunteer button. There’s a waiver to sign and then you can select the time that works for you. Any questions, please reach out!

It's been a week since the 2025 Pulse Endurance Runs completed and I couldn't let another day go by without giving a shoutout to this amazing group of friends who stayed to help me cleanup after being up for about 60 hours. None of these friends were obligated to stay and easily could've called it a day when the race was over. I can't express how much I love and appreciate these people!
