The first ever Smash & Tap Open A-Tier is officially in the books!

What a weekend! Months of planning, stress, excitement, problem solving, and nonstop work all came together into something really special. Hearing all the compliments from players who traveled from all over honestly made every late night and every stressful moment worth it.

A huge thank you to our volunteer spotters, Jason and Hayleigh. I'm sure you both saved a lot of discs out there. And to Jacob and Josh for assisting and giving me 4 more hands to work with!

I also want to thank the EI staff, local community members, and Smash & Tap team members who came out before the event to mow, trim, clean, and prep the course. Instead of focusing on their game, they put that time into creating a beautiful course for everyone to enjoy. Eagle Island looked absolutely incredible this weekend and that happened because they stepped up and took pride in showing everyone what Boise disc golf is all about!

And of course… the wind showed up to make sure this event had the teeth an A-Tier is supposed to have (or it's the Reaper curse...IYKYK 🤣) It challenged everyone, but overall the event ran smoothly and the competition was amazing to watch from start to finish!

Congratulations to all of our winners and everyone who battled through the weekend. You earned it. Am's, please check your emails as scrip has been sent your way.

Thank you all for supporting this event, supporting Smash & Tap, and helping make this first A-Tier something I’m truly proud of. We’ll rest for a minute… then start figuring out how to make next year even better. ❤️🥏

Final round day at the 2026 Smash & Tap Open! 🥏🔥

The TD crew is officially running on caffeine, adrenaline, and pure stubbornness at this point 😂 But seeing all of you out here competing, traveling, supporting each other, and making this weekend special has made every bit of work worth it.

One last round. One last push. Leave it all out on the course and let’s finish this weekend strong.

It's Almost Time!!

Here's a few updates:
Check your Tee Times as some of the cards after 10am have changed due to a couple last minute drops. Make sure to double check tomorrow morning as well...just in case.

Ticks-please bring repellent! With all the work that was done out on the course, it's ruffled up a few ticks so we want you to be aware. Make sure to check yourself during and after your rounds.

Otherwise, I hope you've all got a practice round in and we'll see you tomorrow!

Just a small request:

We know everyone wants to practice the course but please understand we are working to get the course ready for this weekend. It’s hard to get things done when discs are being thrown in our direction or we have to wait for you to finish the hole before we can get back to work. You’ll have 48 hours before the event to practice so please please please, help us out.

If you see us working out there, please skip the hole and let us work. We appreciate it!
