Big Tex Multigun Championship

This is Jeremy Moore. This year we planned on moving the match to the summer. The reason for the date change was to ease the schedule both for the range and myself. Spring is very busy with competitions in Texas.
Recently I have decided not to travel to put on matches anymore. This match plus other matches I’m involved in would have me traveling 3 months out of the year and that’s just not feasible anymore.
For now this match is on hold. Matt Shockey, the owner of The Ranch still wants to have this match. He is looking for an experienced Match Director who has ran a major match before to lead it.
I can tell you from working with Matt for years, he and his range staff are very hospitable and great to work with.

2025 Date to be announced soon!

I am moving the match to the summer. There's a lot going on in the Spring in Texas and a little separation is a good thing.
I should have a decision on the date in the next few weeks.

Registration for the Big Tex Ordnance Multigun match is open!

There’s a choice of multiple 3 gun divisions and 2 Gun (Rifle/Pistol)

You’re able to squad after you register.

10 Stages. A mix of large 100 yard x 100 yard bays, jungle runs and long range out to 600 plus yards! Friday-Saturday-Sunday. Half day format. Open Division has quickly became one of the largest divisions across several matches in the last few years.
All the dots, bags, supports and shooting! Very few leave Open once they've shot it.

Sometimes it's the little things that save a little time. Multiply a little time here and there over the course of a match, it can add up.

Some may just see a cool picture of a hull being ejected. In reality, what is to be noticed is
1) The shooter is close to the dump barrel, but not to close.
2) He's far enough away so he can easily dump the shotgun.
3) The rifle is staged on the barrel and not completely in the barrel.
4) None of this is by chance
5) Details matter
