You've built something worth sharing — now share it.
Not just the finished piece. The process. The decision-making. The quiet moments where your hands know what to do before your mind catches up.
Art in Action gives makers a platform to do exactly that. As one of just 8–10 selected vendors at this intimate outdoor market, you'll have space to sell your handmade work and offer short live demonstrations of your craft — giving people a rare, real look at what it means to make something by hand.
This is a community that values slowness, quality, and the story behind every piece. If that's the kind of work you do, we'd love to have you.

Art has the power to spark curiosity — at every age.
Art in Action was created with one mission in mind: to bring people closer to the creative process and inspire a love of the arts in everyone who walks through. As a vendor, you're not just selling your work — you're part of something bigger.
Dakota Center for the Arts and Eagan Art House are partnering to bring this intimate, community-rooted maker market to life during Art Block. We're looking for 8–10 artists and makers who believe in the value of sharing their craft with the world.
Sound like you? Applications are open now, but the deadline is August 5 — don't wait.

There's something powerful about watching something be made.
Art in Action isn't just a market — it's a stage. As one of just 8–10 selected vendors, you'll have the chance to demonstrate your craft live, giving visitors a real window into your creative process. Each demo is short (10 minutes or less), but the impact lasts.
Whether you weave, throw clay, stamp leather, or carve wood — if you make it by hand and can show others how it's done, we want to hear from you.

🌟 Big News from the Dakota Center for the Arts 🌟

For 31 amazing years, the Eagan Art Festival has been a celebration of creativity, connection, and community. This legacy wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of our artists, vendors, sponsors, and YOU—our community.

As we reflect on our roots and look toward the future, we’ve made the difficult decision to pause the festival in 2026. This pause will allow us to grow, strengthen our organization, and expand our impact across Dakota County.

But this isn’t goodbye! 🎨 We’re exploring smaller events, collaborations, and creative initiatives to keep the arts thriving in 2026. Have ideas or want to get involved? Let’s connect!

✨ Save the Date: The Eagan Art Festival will return June 19-20, 2027, with a renewed focus and deeper commitment to the transformative power of the arts.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we’ll create an even brighter future for the arts in our
