Unfortunately, due to Covid the past 2 years, I had to close down Sports of All Sorts. Thank you so much for the 11 years of such a successful camp that I was able to host.
I truly loved running my program and all the wonderful people we were able to meet. Thank you all for everything.

I regret to inform you, that after much back and forth weighing the pros and cons, I will not be hosting Sports of All Sorts camp this summer. There are just to many cons at this point, and I know families need to make a decision on where to send their kids for summer-I cannot keep holding off. There are just too many negatives and what if’s still at this point. It kills me because I have put so much time and effort into building this program up to what it has become, only to get all that taken away by the pandemic.

Hello SOAS families!
Many have asked, wanting to know if camp will be on this summer. And the answer-I don’t know!
I am going to be transparent with you. My camp is all about kids building relationships, learning teamwork and sportsmanship, making friends, and being close together. We share equipment and play games together. My younger kids love to be with the older kids and vice versa. We clean up everyday, but is it enough? To sanitize every touch point after every group would be very time consuming and costly. The ventilation on the fields isn’t the best, and it is hot inside the building. I do my best to offer giant cooler fans and small AC units around the arena. On top of it, to ask kids to wear a mask while playing would be dangerous and pose different health concerns. There really isn’t much space outside either, besides part of the parking lot.

Anyone have ideas?
I am thinking that I might be able to offer a very limited enrollment and offer a shorter season, possibly with only 3 weeks.
My concern is that with much less enrollment, my rates would not be able to be discounted. I can’t have a program cost me money, after losing money last year.
Is it worth it? I’m not sure how parents would feel about this. Maybe there are programs that are much better equipt to host summer camps during this time and parents plan on choosing that. Your thoughts are welcomed and encouraged.

I regret to inform you that I will be cancelling summer camp for 2020. There have been so many factors that played into this decision. I hope that you understand my decision to do this is to protect not only your family, but my own.
I hope you understand that this program means everything to me, and this is very hard for me to do, but it is in the best interest of everyone involved. Sports of All Sorts is more than just a camp, we are a family (and you know this if you have attended). Thank you for all your continued support and understanding.

Many have asked: Will I still be having camp?The answer: I sure hope so!
It is so hard to predict what June 22nd will look like. I sure hope we are able to have some normalcy in our lives by then.
I am still accepting registration at this time. I prefer the $50 deposit per child, however I know times are really tough for people and some people are worried about bills. If you register and can not pay the $50 per child at this time, please contact me.

I’m sure many of us are feeling this way! Hang in there everyone and stay healthy-Summer will be here before you know it! (Hopefully🤞).
While you are having some downtime trying to hide from your kids, go online and register them for camp! They need the time away to burn off all that extra energy and socialize, as much as you will need some much deserved time without them. 🤣
