The flyers are out. The registration links are everywhere. Everybody is promising “exposure.”

But every camp is not an opportunity. Every invite is not interest. Every logo on a flyer does not mean your athlete is being recruited.

Many families treat activities like camps, social media posts, or highlight tapes as a strategy. But without a specific plan and order connecting them, they're just noise. Everything must work together systematically to be effective.

Coaches aren't there to mediate family drama. If a parent is difficult or overbearing, they'll simply walk away. It's up to the family to manage their own dynamics and present a united front during the recruiting process.
