From previous experience, the Durango Film staff understands how film can make a difference in the enrichment of a community, and is dedicated to this purpose. The Native Lens Symposium returns June 13-14 with a two day event focused on career development and sustainability in the film industry within Colorado and the Four Corners region.

The 2026 symposium welcomes film professionals and emerging media makers alike from throughout Indian Country to attend industry-driven sessions, film screenings, networking opportunities and hands-on workshops. Meals are provided and there is no cost to attend.
