The 23rd San Juan Brewfest will be a two-day event in 2022 - Friday August 26 and Saturday August 27 Friday will be a VIP only day, with only 500 tickets sold.

The San Juan Brewfest is the biggest and best beer tasting festival in the Four Corners. Held every year on the weekend before Labor Day weekend, the event benefits United Way of Southwest Colorado. In 2022, the Brewfest will be a two-day event held on Friday August 26 and Saturday August 27 at Buckley Park in Historic Downtown Durango. Saturday will be general admission only, with about 1,500 tic

kets sold. Up to 35 breweries will attend and each will bring two to three beers for you to sample. Tickets will be available at www.SanJuanBrewfest.com on June 1 at 10 am MST. The Thirsty 13 Half Marathon discounted ticket is available to runners this year! Learn more at www.thirsty13durango.com. Children and youth under 21 are NOT allowed at the event. No dogs or pets of any kind! All ticket holders will receive a souvenir 5 oz tasting glass for unlimited samples of the beers from our breweries. Live entertainment is included at the Brewfest, bands to be announced. The San Juan Brewfest benefits United Way of Southwest Colorado.

Our Story

The San Juan Brewfest is the biggest and best beer tasting festival in the Four Corners. Held every year on the Saturday before Labor Day weekend, the event benefits United Way of Southwest Colorado.

The San Juan Brewfest was original created by Purgatory Resort in 1998 and was traditionally held on Labor Day weekend. It was held at the mountain through 2007, and moved to Downtown Durango in 2008. Over the past 12 years, the event has grown from 300 attendees and 15 breweries, to 2,500 attendees and 50 breweries. The San Juan Brewfest has sold out for the past sixyears, and has become one of Durango’s best annual events.

We love Durango, music, beer and raising money for a great charity like our local United Way! If you like to have fun and taste great beer, and hang out in one of the most beautiful places in Colorado, come visit us! In 2020, the Brewfest will be held on Saturday August 29 from 1 to 5 pm at Buckley Park in Historic Downtown Durango. Up to 50 breweries will attend, all with at least two beers for you to sample, so over 100 beers will be available. Plus live music, and tons of fun, all to benefit United Way of Southwest Colorado. All ticket holders will receive a souvenir 5 oz tasting glass and unlimited samples of the beers from participating breweries. VIP tickets also available. Tickets go on sale on June 1, 2020 at www.sanjuanbrewfest.com. If you run in the Thirsty 13 Half Marathon, held the same day as the Brewfest, you will have an option during registration to purchase a 1/2 price general admission ticket.
