Nice work Durand Improvement Group (DIG)!! ❤️

This morning, the Durand Improvement Group (DIG) proudly presented a check for $50,000 to the City of Durand to support the renovation of the historic Memorial Park Bandshell! ❤️

This incredible contribution is the result of 10+ years of fundraising, dedication, and hard work by members of both DIG and FunFest - Durand, Wisconsin. From 50/50 raffles and special events to countless hours of planning, organizing, and volunteering, so many people have played a part in making this possible.

We would like to extend a special thank you to:

💙 Durand Sportsmen’s Club for their generous $1,000 donation in memory of Sue Bauer

💙 Durand-Pepin Masonic Lodge #149 for their $800 donation (they were an original donor to the bandshells construction in 1925)

💙 Durand Trap Association (and the Sabelko and Whitwam families) for their incredible $8,000 contribution through the Ethan Whitwam and Gabe Sabelko Memorial Event

And, most importantly, thank you to all of the past and current members of DIG and FunFest who have poured countless hours, energy, and heart into fundraising for this important piece of Durand’s history.

The Memorial Park Bandshell has been part of our community for generations, and we are incredibly proud to help preserve it for generations to come.
