Durand’s Annual Santa’s Light Parade would like to extend a special thank you to Jerry Davis of Sound Wavz DJ Entertainment for the fantastic job he did announcing this year’s parade!

Jerry has been part of our parade for the past two years, and once again he delivered with energy, professionalism, and holiday spirit.

He was asked to stepped in to announce the parade on short notice and he truly knocked it out of the park.

Wow… what an incredible evening at the Durand Annual Santa’s Light Parade! From dazzling lights to smiling faces, you made this event nothing short of magical. Thank you to everyone who bundled up, came out, and helped kick off the holiday season in true Durand style!

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing lineup coordinators — Mike Malachowski, Blair Pancheck, and Mark Pancheck — for keeping everything moving smoothly and making sure our parade rolled out perfectly. You did a fantastic job!

Huge thanks to Tyler Boike, General Sales Manager at Randy Wise Durand, for being an outstanding emcee and bringing so much energy and cheer to the festivities. You truly kept the night sparkling!

Thank you to Mayor Pro Tem Rich Folaron for warmly welcoming Santa to Durand and helping make the evening extra special for our community.

And to our judges — you had your work cut out for you! With so many wonderful entries, choosing winners was no easy task. Congratulations to all who participated, and a big round of applause to this year’s winners:

He said he’s willing to make a special exception… if you haven’t registered yet, you still have two days to secure your spot in the parade!

The Chamber Office will be open tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. OR you can stop by Shaw’s Pharmacy and Gifts to register on Wednesday or Friday!.

Better hurry—before Santa moves your name to the naughty list.

The Grinch and Cindy Lou Who are coming to town! 💚🎀

That’s right — this festive duo will be out and about on November 29 before the Durand’s Annual Santa’s Light parade, handing out candy and coloring books to all the kiddos. Come on down and see if you can be the one to put a smile on the Grinch’s face! 😉

Enjoy a magical wagon ride, grab some treats, and stay for the parade — it’s going to be a Whoville-worthy night in Durand! 🎅✨

🎅 Big News for Santa’s Light Parade 2025! 🎄

After many years of dedication, heart, and true community spirit, our long-time Parade Coordinators Bill and Christi Johnson: Allstate Insurance are retiring from their parade duties. We are so grateful for everything they’ve poured into making Santa’s Light Parade the magical tradition it is today. Please join us in thanking them for their years of commitment! ❤️✨

As we move forward, we’re making a few updates to help the parade continue to grow smoothly and safely:

📍 New Line-Up Location:
All entries will now line up on the Durand High School Access Road.

👋 New (and familiar!) Coordination Team:
Long-time coordinator Mike Malachowski will now be joined by Mark and Blair Pancheck to help keep everything running like holiday clockwork!

🎤 New Emcee Duo:
We are excited to welcome Tyler Boike, General Sales Manager at Randy Wise Jeep Durand, as this year’s parade emcee—standing alongside Chamber Director Candyce Wolsfeld!

We’re thrilled for these positive changes and can’t wait to kick off another unforgettable holiday season in Durand. 🎄✨
