The Cow Palace just got a shout out from one of my favorite TikTok creators, all the way from Tucson, AZ for the Longest Yard Sale event. I was so surprised to see her, right before she exited with her arms full of amazing finds…mostly from Cindy’s incredible booth. I yelled out, “I follow you on TikTok! Love your content!” I felt like such a fan girl! Her content really helped me with pricing my vintage Coach and Cohl Hahn bags.
Tomorrow’s the last day. What a crazy couple of weeks it has been! Come on down and see the amazing inventory this year! It will be priced to sell!
Bonus: live music by Teel Montegue!

Picking and canning ‘maters but, MOST IMPORTANTLY, prepping for the upcoming WORLD’s LONGEST YARD SALE at the Cow Palace! Only a month away!
Thank you to all the artists who responded to our ad for vendors. You will be receiving a dm in the next day or so asking for a final confirmation. Please respond promptly as we have multiple artists on the waiting list.
Meanwhile, get busy culling and pricing the stuff we’re going to sell!

CALLING ALL ARTISTS: the time to reserve your free Cow Palace booth is now! Our biggest sellers are already culling and pricing in preparation for this years Hwy 127 Longest Yard Sale. As part of our non-profit mission to support local artists, we are inviting local Chattanooga-area artists (musical, visual) to take advantage of a free booth. I’m using this year’s sale to clean out my art studio and free up creative space. But you may just want to clean house and make some extra cash! Or both!
The Cow Palace is a prime, fully-covered location. Artists and vendors love that it is relatively safe from the elements. Last year’s biggest vendor cleared five figures! (She worked hard!) Would love to see some visual artists join me in selling their wares, and encourage any musicians who want to set up to hop up on one of our two stages to play for hundreds of yard sale people from all over the country. DM me if you are interested in joining the party!
Note: I’ll be up and running a week ahead of time, August 1-9, to catch those crazy early birds pulling up with trailers loaded with purchases…if you know, you know!

IT HAS ARRIVED! We’ve been (sternly) informed that many musicians like walking on stage and plugging into a waiting PA system. We get it. Less equipment loading, unloading, and hauling onto stages. The Cow Palace listened and acquired a good portable Sweetwater system, complete with soundboard, multiple mics and mic stands—easily transported from The Canned Ham Stage to Hornets Nest Stage, depending on the act and event.
Huge thanks to brother John McClure, of JonyMac Recording Studios, for guiding us through the selection, purchase, and set up! Among his many talents is the capturing live performances, making his expertise in sound equipment invaluable. A fantastic, multi-instrumental musician in his own right, we look forward to luring him back for some future performances.

Say hello to the new face of Creekside’s Canned Ham Food Drive, local model Jenna Brevig! Jenna endured an entire day of costume, location, and pose changes like the absolute pro she is! Also, shout out to Elizabeth Miller at for lending us the vintage clothes used in this shoot, all from her amazing collection housed in her shop in St. Elmo. I can’t recommend the professionalism of these two women enough.
Last, but certainly not least is our professional photographer Stuart Taff. Surely his years of shooting models in NYC got put to the test in this barn environment, but it never showed. No bad lighting situation was too challenging as he dragged his lights and equipment from the big Canned Ham Stage to the more intimate Hornet’s Nest Stage. Now I’m faced with the daunting task of picking the best shots out of 250, all excellent. What a great team!
More on the actual music/art show/food drive event soon! ❤️
