After many hours of coordinating with other events, we have decided that we will be hosting the WNY Walleye Classic on June 11th and 12th. With June 13th being our weather blow date. We are getting rid of the Calcuttas and increasing the entry fee. Most teams entered the Calcuttas anyway. Last year with entry and Calcuttas, teams paid $1,450 for the main Calcuttas and entry and the teams that got the big foot Calcutta paid $2,450. We are making the event more simplistic while making the payouts much bigger. This way we can ensure larger payouts with a smaller fleet size.
Based off a fleet of 40 boats, 1st would take home $25,000. We will have the Day 1 big box/big fish and Day 2 big box/ big fish. Two days of competition. All waters of Lake Erie including Canada. All boats must leave and return to Dunkirk to keep fair. Fish any way you want. Troll or Cast. Same format as last year. We will be releasing an updated rules list soon. We are also working to make this event a high end event with a free catered dinner for captains meeting. Our area needs a high end event like this. We are proud to bring this style event to WNY. We want to thank everyone that has given input and will be working with this event. The WNY Walleye community mourns yet another loss. Tournament angler Ray Adamczyk has passed away. Please keep Ray's Family, Friends, and Tournament Team Mates in your thoughts and prayers. Ray will be sorely missed by all that knew him. May he watch over all of us on the lake.

Cold B**r Creek killed it this year. Next year we will most likely only have one band on Saturday night to finish the tournament, unless there is a rain day, then the tournament will continue on Sunday just this year.
