The 2026 Mill Towns Race Series Winners! 🥇

Sunday's weather made PRs and course records elusive at the 2026 Mill Towns Race Series. These runners persevered to come out on top:

RRCA Minnesota State Championship Marathon:
Brett Christians of Northfield in 2:59:12
Michelle Meyer of Lakeville in 3:33:21

Half Marathon:
Trevor Lavigne of Austin, MN, in 1:28:16
Andie Burton of St. Paul in 1:28:52

10K:
Janet Smith of Dundas in 40:38 (:16 shy of the course record!)
Jason Aldorfer of Northfield in 44:42

IMPORTANT RACE WEATHER UPDATE! 💩

Our NWS forecast indicates yellow and orange flag conditions much of the morning tomorrow. For everyone's safety, we need to work together.

As a race, we will have two Gators serving as roving aid stations, in addition to the three aid stations on the course. They will pick you up if you are overheating. We are also permitting marathoners to drop their final loop and still receive a medal, although they will not be eligible for the RRCA Championship or a Boston qualifying time. If you want to stop after three loops, please inform the timer or the announcers.

Participants, we need you to:
1. Adjust your pace and expectations for the conditions.
2. Hydrate often with water and electrolytes.
3. Don't try to push through if you feel nauseous, dizzy or cold. Seek help!
4. Watch out for one another. If you see someone in distress, yell for help, flag down a Gator, let someone at the water stops know help is needed. Water stops, the Gators and the medical team will have two-way radios.

You practiced running in the heat this summer, right?!

Yes, please!) Or if you're feeling like a few more steps, street parking near the park or lots on Railway Street are just a hop, skip, and a jump away.

🆘 HELP NEEDED this Sunday in Dundas/Northfield!

Enjoy a beautiful fall day helping others reach their goals! Teens can earn community service hours. Volunteers receive a shirt, hat and swag bag.
