Amethyst Retreat Center Amethyst Foundation, Inc. (also known as Amethyst Retreat Center) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization in Pennsylvania for more than 25 years.

Amethyst is a center for an evolving culture of wellness sustained through connections with Nature, with each other in a diverse community, and with our own inner wisdom. Amethyst Retreat Center is dedicated to offering

information, experiences and programs that inspire innovative approaches to living and a way of life that is nourishing and sustainable. We have no religious or political affiliation; rather, we are part of humanity’s awakening to a culture of respect and inclusiveness for all love-based religions, traditions, cultures and ways of being. We offer wellness retreats, educational workshops, classes, nature programs and day camps for children, gatherings for women, for men, and for the public. Our weekend gatherings typically feature music, movement, hands on workshops, incredibly good and natural food, time in nature, and optional camping. We are open to the public based on special events and regularly every Wednesday 1-6:30pm for volunteer day. We also offer rentals of the Retreat House and Grounds for private groups or for those hosting their own public events at Amethyst. Mindful Movement is a 75 minute class designed to cleanse the body and emotions of unwanted energy, support health and wellness, and bring you into a state of calm and utmost Self Care. The class is 45 minutes of Somatic movement inspired by Hatha, Kundalini, and Yin Yoga, Pranayama exercises, and Tai-Chi influences. This is perfect for beginners as well as seasoned Yoga practitioners. The class emphasizes connecting with the breath and body with mindful awareness and focus in a calm, non judgemental, and supportive environment. This practice works wonderfully on the nervous system;  rooting the body and mind to the Earth and slowing down to find that calm and peaceful state to allow for the utmost healing energy to come through.  Each class is finished with a 30 minute Sound Journey Savasana, with Crystal bowls and other Divine Instrument tools. Most people feel the body and mind cleansed after the session and find a deep state of relaxation and peace.

Sign ups are open for the first in our series of clay workshops being lead by Kami Lumadue.

the May 9th class will be held from 11 am - 5 pm and will be focused on making a pinch pot, coil pot, or a combination of the two.

Complimentary Workshops: Each retreat weekend includes two complimentary group classes scheduled throughout the weekend. You decide what you want to enjoy. The options include a combination of guided meditation, sound bath, forest bathing, labyrinth walking meditation, or yoga.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Vegetarian Meals are included and prepared by your host for the weekend.

Accommodations: Overnight accommodations for two nights in your choice of a private or public room.

Add-On Services: While on retreat, you can schedule healing therapies for an additional fee that goes directly to the practitioners: Massage, reflexology, and Reiki. We will email you a few weeks before your retreat to see if you’d like to choose any services

Junior Tracker camp is a week-long day camp that is being offered this summer at Amethyst Retreat Center’s 144-acre facility to children, ages 10-17. During this exciting program, children and teens will get lots of hands-on experience, learning outdoor living and survival skills from highly qualified instructors, while being fully immersed in nature.
