Hello Everyone,

We are offering Meenakari Workshop for Adults.

Meenakari originated in 16th century when Raja Man Singh of Amber brought Persian craftsman from Lahore to Rajasthan and drenched the art in an Indian Flavor. As time passed by Jaipur became the hub for Meenakari. Meenakari involves the art of coloring and ornamenting the metal surfaces through enameling. It is a beautiful traditional artform that involves the use of bright colors and bold designs!

About the workshop:
In this workshop, you will be using glass colors and other materials to convert a simple Ceramic plate into a beautiful piece of art. You will be taught the technique of bringing out Meenakari designs on a Ceramic surface from scratch.

This is a 'beginner-friendly' workshop!(Age: 16+)

Elements you will learn:

Creating faux Meenakari effect
Making Meenakari possible with readily available materials

Materials Required
1. Glass painting kit(liner and colors)
2. Ceramic plate
3. Design sheet
4. Clear varnish(optional)
5. Toothpick
6. Paint Brushes
7. Palette
8. Bowl of water
9. Waste Cloth

Further prospects and application of what you will be learning
The techniques learned in this workshop can be used to create a beautiful art piece on any other surface. The design plate made during the workshop can be used as a decorative piece or a wall décor and can be displayed with joy and pride.

Workshop Fee- $28 (2 sessions of 90 minutes each)
