Have your kids been begging to complete their own 140.6 mile odyssey? Then our newest race is for your kids! We are caffeinating the root beer and bringing in a tattoo artist for the finish line to make sure your kids can show off their meddle and medal in style!

Friends and racers in Brewhouse Triathlon p/b Lakewalk Surgery Center and Root Beer Kids Triathlon p/b Lakewalk Surgery Center, we could use just a few more volunteers to help out at this year's Root Beer Kids Race!

We have openings for help on the run course (flaggers, water stops), back up timing, and general help in the transition area directing our young athletes!

We are fast approaching the most fun triathlon in the Northland, The Root Beer Kids Triathlon p/b Lakewalk Surgery Center! Come out to Island Lake on Sunday August 6th from 1:30-3:30 a fun, active event. Your kids, 6-14 can swim, bike and run their way to a mug of Fitger's Brewhouse Brewery and Grille Root Beer! The swim is in waist deep water, bike is on a closed course and the run is along the bluff and dirt trails of Island Lake.
